Improving Your Property Value

While the decision isn’t set in stone as of yet, my wife and I have been thinking about moving to a new neighborhood. As we’ve mulled things over and changed our minds on numerous occasions, I’ve taken the time to improve our property value just in case. I spent the last few months undertaking home improvement projects: repainting the exterior, re-shingling the roof, and even redoing the tile in the master bathroom.

I hired a Seattle landscaping contractor to add depth and dimension to the backyard garden area. Then, in a final elaborate touch, I highlighted the new landscape with solar outdoor lighting. Now when potential buyers pass by the house doing an informal evaluation, they’ll be sure to see all the hard work that has gone into turning this once ordinary home into a luxurious abode.

Landscape design is an independent profession, combining nature and culture. It can bridge the gap between landscape architecture and garden design. Landscaping collaborates with architecture as well as geography. It can be an artistic composition of your yard.

Redmond landscaping designers have an interest in the gardening aspects of landscaping. Gardens are dynamic and not static after construction and planting are completed. The beauty of hiring a landscaper to do your yard is that it is completed for you. Landscapers come to your yard to maintain it so you don’t have to.

When you are looking to give your yard a “face lift” then there are different options that you can choose from. One option is to take a weekend drive and check out other people’s yards to see what they have done. This is a great way to get ideas. You can see if there is anything that might work for your yard.

Another option is to look online. There are a lot of different sites that you can look at. It is also a great way to see reviews on landscapers as well. If you are looking for Kirkland landscaping, you can see what other clients have to say on the work that they have had done on there yard.

When we moved into our house in Redmond, we had a huge piece of property. It needed quit a bit of work. My husband is talented in a lot of things, landscaping would not be one of them. Even though, he begs to differ. So, when it came time to put up a retaining wall I had to intervene.

To prevent injury and bodily harm, mostly to him, I decided to look up Redmond landscaping online. After some research I found a business that was reasonably priced. It only took a week, which in reality would’ve taken my husband months. It was beautifully done.

When it comes to art, the first thing that comes to mind is paintings or statues. There are all types of art work that is around us every day that we take for granted. It is as easy as being right in your own yard. Landscaping is an art that is taken for granted.

Have you ever drove down a neighborhood and just looked at people’s yards? I do it every other weekend. My favorite is Kirkland landscaping. The yards are so unique and you can tell just how much input is put into every detail. It is truly undiscovered art.

Seattle is one of the most popular cities in the United States. The misconception of city life is that it’s dirty. It’s not as clean and fresh as if you where to live in the country. Typically when you drive downtown all you see are high rises and buildings.

Driving down the out skirts of the neighborhoods of Seattle you will be amazed to see that it is just not a city. There are beautiful homes that have been around since before the high rises and stores were around. Seattle landscaping is one of the prettiest that you will come across. You can tell just by driving down the streets the amount of time and energy that home owners take to make their homes not the typical city life people assume it to be.

The great thing about living in Washington is the beautiful scenery. You have the mountains, the beautiful sound. The cherry blossoms blooming in the Spring. Washington is by far one of the prettiest states.

Along with the Washington being so beautiful so are the cities within Washington. Bellevue is by far, one of those cities. Driving down the streets you can see beautifully landscaped homes. Bellevue landscaping is by far some of the most beautifully landscaped cities in Washington.

Using Bulbs Best

Living in the Pacific Northwest certainly has its advantages when it comes to gardening. The ample rainfall and rich soil is ideal for many plants. My favorite plant, which absolutely thrives in this portion of the country, is the tulip.

With the help of the experts at a Seattle landscape designs firm, I have been able to keep my garden full of blossoming tulips every year. For starters, I always plant my tulip bulbs in a massive pot in an extremely sunny spot. I crowd in as many bulbs as possible, planting them twice the depth of the bulb in quality, well-draining potting soil. When the tulips are done flowering, I’ve tried, with some success, to transfer them to the ground in an effort to coax blooms next year.

If you’re tired of struggling to keep your lawn looking fresh and clean, it might be time to hire a professional. Don’t feel bad. With a full-time job, kids and a social life to juggle, everything else seems to take the back seat as countless details on a to-do list. With the right landscaping company, you can have your yard looking pristine in no time.

In seeking out Seattle landscape plans, you will have plenty of magnificent options to choose from when it comes to the refurbishing of your yard. Once of my favorite looks is the addition of flower beds; something as simple as flowers can introduce a soft-natured appeal to your lawn. Another gorgeous and quite popular option is to introduce exotic plants into your yard for an extra push of pizzazz – I recommend red Japanese maples

Indoor-Outdoor Entertaining

The Pacific Northwest is renowned for being a temperate rain forest, meaning our environment is greener than most. You can take advantage of the beauty that abounds in the region by transforming part of your living space into a seamless indoor-outdoor entertainment area. By that we mean, consider adding large windows or French doors out onto a covered patio. The windows and doors will let in the light and create a flow between the indoor and outdoor space.

Next, you’ll want to consider the patio as an extension of your living room or family room. Incorporate Seattle landscape architecture into your design choices. Pick fabrics and furniture that complement your indoor furnishings. Brighten up your yard with colorful plants and planters. This task may seem overwhelming, so you may want to consult a professional landscaper on your project. A professional will let you be as hands on as you want while steering you towards options you may not have known about or considered before.
